I finally got this Gucci Dionysus bag after years of coveting it. The Dionysus hardware, bejeweled in pale green sparkling Swarovski gems, features two tiger heads to represent the Greek myth that the god Dionysus rode across the Tigris River on the back of a tiger(sent to him by Zeus, of course). Dionysus is the god of fruitfulness and vegetation, of wine and ecstasy. I’m not particularly into Greek mythology, but I am into bejeweled hardware. This is the chain wallet version.

Upcycled bags made from aluminum soda can tops in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The designer and maker of Gabino Eco-Purses said he’s been creating these for years out of aluminum and can make any size or shape. I really love the ethos of upcycling something so common without changing its forms only it’s function. I left his Facebook page on the last slide so you can look it up!
