The first new bag designed by Jonathan Anderson caught my eye with its innovative cuboid construction, its shape created through precise puzzle-like cutting. The Puzzle can be worn in five different ways from shoulder bag to clutch, plus it folds completely flat. It’s dramatic with geometry and modest in its luxury; just what I’ve been looking for.
Loewe is the oldest house in LVMH’s repertoire; the Spanish luxury fashion house based in Madrid was founded in 1846. Jonathan Anderson, a young designer known for his own brand JW Anderson, was appointed creative director in 2013. His youthful aesthetic (he’s only 35!) has revived the once dormant luxury house and created steady success for Loewe and LVMH.
Loewe (apparently pronounced “lo-weh-vay”) first began as a leather-making collective. Jonathan Anderson has taken this obsessive focus on craft and unmatched expertise with leather and created the Puzzle bag.

As far as pricing goes… it varies based on size and leather. Let’s just say that the Mini Puzzle starts at $1800 and the prices go up from there.
